ABOUT ME AND MY MISSION

My name is Annie Rogers. You guys will find through this blog I’m goofy and a lot of the time don’t really have a way with words (just ask my sister who is an English major), but I hope to make you feel as if you are with me on the new, joyous, and at times awkward study abroad experience I will be undertaking. Now, a little about me: I am from Oklahoma but attend school in Clarksville, Arkansas at a very small university called University of the Ozarks. Through my dear university, I have been given the opportunity to study abroad in Northern Ireland at Stranmillis University College in Belfast. Although I do love my university, they deserve far less credit compared to my dear Lord who is truly the one whom opened these doors to studying abroad. Although I am going to study education, being an elementary education major, I know the true reason for my going is to share the love only found in Jesus to the people of Belfast and anyone else I encounter while over there. My call is to “go and make disciples of all nations” so I know this commission is for those in Belfast as well. I feel blessed and so loved by my Maker and those around me who have cheered me on through the journey before the journey. I hope through this blog you all will be able to see my good and bad days in Belfast---and through both you see Jesus. (Prayers much accepted people---I’m an Oklahoman in Ireland---eeep!)
